Caorle OltreMare

The City of Caorle, beyond its seaside charm, transforms into a true literary salon where internationally renowned authors present their works. The series of events known as “Caorle OltreMare” was created with the aim of offering residents and visitors a range of open-air cultural appointments. Over the years, writers, journalists, actors and musicians such as Paolo Crepet, Mario Luzzatto Fegiz and Vittorio Sgarbi have appeared on the stage in front of the Civic Centre.

The meetings take place at 9:00 PM in the charming Piazza Vescovado, at the foot of the cylindrical bell tower, and admission is free of charge.

In case of bad weather, the events will be held in the Council Hall of the Civic Centre.

The 2026 edition will begin in June with four appointments:
• Monday 15 June – Fabio Dragoni presents “Per non morire al verde”.
• Wednesday 17 June – Marianna and Mauro Corona present “Quando la montagna ispira: Rifugi per un tempo sospeso e i sentieri degli aghi di pino”.
• Wednesday 24 June – Toni Capuozzo presents “Una piccola guerra. Il 6 maggio del Friuli”.
• Tuesday 30 June – Costanza Miriano presents “Non desiderare la vita d'altri”.

The programme will continue throughout July with a rich calendar of events:
• Wednesday 1 July – Michele Padovano presents “Tra la Champions e la libertà”.
• Friday 3 July – Luca Antonini presents “Pensare la sanità. Terapie per la sanità malata”.
• Monday 6 July – Fabio Cavallari presents “Non spiegare”.
• Wednesday 8 July – Walter Veltroni presents “Iris e la libertà”.
• Tuesday 14 July – Marco Anzovino presents the performance “I ragazzi della strada accanto”.
• Wednesday 15 July – Fausto Biloslavo presents “Talebani dell'accoglienza”.
• Thursday 16 July – Mauro Pitteri presents “Tina Anselmi. Una vita per le donne”.

August will also feature prominent guests:
• Wednesday 12 August – Davide Rondoni presents “Per una giovane Italia: un manifesto di denuncia e di proposte”, an evening of music and art.
• Thursday 13 August – Davide Rondoni returns with “Canto delle creature. Concerto di boschi, pascoli e cuori”.
• Tuesday 18 August – Matteo Vanzan presents “Paris. Terre d'Italiens”, an event connected to another major cultural initiative organised this summer by the City of Caorle: the exhibition dedicated to Futurism, taking place from 5 June to 6 September at the Bafile Cultural Centre, curated by Matteo Vanzan himself.
